Germany, Wehrmacht. A National War Flag, by Lorenz Summa Söhne

(Reichskriegsflagge). An exceptionally well-preserved National War Flag, constructed of multi-coloured cotton twill, consisting of a double-sided dyed red base, bearing a black and white Nordic Cross, in turn featuring a central black-enameled mobile swastika on a white disc, the hoist edge featuring a hollow reinforced white cotton channel through which is looped a fully intact drawstring, the hoist edge bears a black ink maker’s mark of “LORENZ SUMMA SÖHNE, OBERKOTZAU”, as well as an additional black ink stamp of “KR. FL. 80 x 135”, the flag accordingly measures 135 cm (w) x 80 cm (h) and presents in a near mint condition.
