Lebanon, Republic. An Order of Merit, III Class Silver Grade, by Arthus Bertrand

(Ordre du mérite). Instituted in 1922. In silver, hallmarked, maker marked "AB & Co" (Arthus Bertrand) and marked "800" (silver) on the edge, measuring 30.8 mm (w) x 40.3 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, original ribbon with embroidered cedar tree, dual prong pinback, very light contact, near extremely fine.
