(Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k with the bayonet attached to the front of the barrel and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 60.76 mm x 45.30 mm; weighing 24.7 grams; some of the original silver wash still remains; overall near very fine condition.

 An Infantry Assault Badge Award Document to Gefreiten Hans Sammet on off-white coloured paper. The document is in black ink, stamped and signed. Presenting a single folding crease and minor scuffing at edges. Measuring 148 mm (w) x 212 mm (h). In very fine condition.
