The Hesse War Honour Badge is named to Unteroffizier (NCO) Johannes Tamm of the Royal Ammunitions Laboratory in Siegburg. Dated to Darmstadt on April 29, 1918, with a facsimile signature of Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig.

Measuring 286 mm (w) x 223 mm (h), presenting two folding creases, some overall creasing, light fraying of the edges, and some repairs to the reverse, remains near very fine.
