Prussia, Kingdom. A Red Eagle Order, Grand Cross Star, by Friedlander, c.1855

Grand Cross of the order in a finely crafted eight pointed silver star with gold centre; white and green enamels are accented by a masterfully hand painted red eagle with gold crown, reverse marked FR for Friedlander, exhibiting the minor and light wear associated with period use, measuring 87.8 mm x 88.3 mm and weighing 78.4 grams, stands in better than extremely fine condition.
