The lighter is constructed from a brass shell casing, consisting of three basic pieces, the central tube with a bronze Eagle of the Polish Armed Forces badge placed on the obverse of the shaft, the badge surrounded by the hand inscriptions in Polish "WILNO" (Vilnius) above, "7VII44 Pow. Wile Ń Skie" (7VII44 Vilnius POW) vertically to the left and "Bóg honor i Ojczyzna" (God of Honour and Homeland) vertically to the right. It has 50 Groszy (Cent) coins placed at both ends, the coin on the base dated 1923, with a striker placed on the reverse of the shaft with the initials "J B" hand engraved below. The cap comes off and exposes a circular housing with eight die-holes for ventilation around the protruding wick, the bottom comes off and exposes the flint capsule, measuring 21 mm in diameter x 115.8 mm in length, very fine.
