Germany, Imperial. A Prussian Pickelhaube Insignia

(Insignien für Pickelhaube). Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of a highly-detailed Hohenzollern-style imperial eagle clutching an orb and sceptre, bearing a central monogram of King Friedrich, overlaid by a banner bearing a raised inscription of “MIT GOTT FÜR KOENIG UND VATERLAND” (“WITH GOD FOR KING AND FATHERLAND”), the reverse with dual lugs retaining original nuts and washers, unmarked, measuring 122 mm (w) x 105 mm (h), with minor loss of finish evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
