Germany, Der Stahlhelm. A 1921 Membership Badge, Large Version, by Stahlhof Magdeburg

(Der Stahlhelm Mitgliedsabzeichen). Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled disc bearing a raised and silvered Stahlhelm, in turn bearing an engraved inscription of “DER STAHLHELM” flanked by an Iron Cross, above silvered oak leaves and a date of “1923”, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Stahlhof Magdeburg, measuring 30.22 mm in diameter, weighing 10.8, near extremely fine condition.
