Three-piece construction, in brass, the left piece with a tab, the monogram of Queen Victoria surmounted by the Victorian Crown in bronze gilt affixed to the tab and surrounded by a full wreath of laurel leaves, ornate leafing on the belt loop on the left end, a catch protruding from the left side of the belt loop on the right end and incorporating ornate leafing, a rectangular hook placed on the reverse of the tab in order to receive the aforementioned catch, unmarked, measuring 46.3 mm (w) x 73 mm (h) when linked together, scattered gilt wear evident on the monogram and crown, very light contact, near extremely fine.
