Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath entwined with ribbon, with a central fouled anchor on a hollow background, the reverse with a flattened prongs, maker marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, measuring 51.51 mm (w) x 64.74 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
