1888-1918 Issue. (abzeichen für die Flügeladjutanten kaiser Wilhelms II). Constructed of solid silver (hallmarked “800” and with the crescent moon and crown for silver content); the obverse consisting of an oval wreath, consisting of laurel and oak leaves, tied together on the bottom with a bow, and topped with the royal crown at the top, with “WR” for Wilhelm Rex superimposed in the centre; the reverse plain, with two rivets holding the royal monogram in place; with a swiveling vertical broad pinback, a barrel hinge, and a broad catch; maker marked by Johann Wagner & Sohn; measuring 44.90 mm (w) x 58.80 mm (h); weighing 38.0 grams; with light and attractive patina from age; in overall extremely fine condition.
