Germany, Waffen-SS. An EM/NCO SS-Polizei-Division Cufftitle

In black rayon construction, machine woven, with machine embroidered "SS-Polizei-Division" in silvery/grey cotton threads; the cufftitle is bordered at both the top and bottom edges in horizontally woven, seven strand, silvery-aluminum wire threads. Measures approximately 48cm (19 inches) in length, in unworn condition. Footnote: This item was brought back by US Army NCO C.H. Johnson, born in 1915, from Ohio, who was stationed at Camp Dachau in 1945.
