Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Armbands

(Drittes Reich Armbänder). A pair of armbands, including a narrow version NSDAP member’s armband, constructed of red-dyed cotton, the exterior with a white disc measuring 40 mm in diameter, overlaid by a black mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 200 mm (l) x 44 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; a Volkssturm member’s armband, constructed of cotton, the exterior bearing a central black band with a white inscription of “DEUTSCHER VOLKSSTURM WEHRMACHT”, flanked by Wehrmacht eagles clutching wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 210 mm (l) x 60 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
