Germany, SS. An EM/NCO’s Belt and Buckle, by Paul Meybauer

(Waffen-SS Gürtel). A Waffen-SS EM/NCO’s belt and buckle, the former constructed of black leather, with seven dual holes for attachments, the opposite end with an integrated aluminum loop bearing a maker’s mark of “PM” for Paul Meybauer, Berlin, measuring 860 mm in length, accompanied by a bucke, constructed of magnetic metal. The obverse with a SS-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “MEINE EHRE HEIßT TREUE” (“MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY”), the reverse with dual attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 47 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
