Germany, Third Reich. A Volkssturm Member’s Armband

(Volkssturm Armband für Mitglieder). Constructed of dyed multi-coloured cotton, the obverse bearing a white inscription of “DEUTSCHER VOLKSSTURM WEHRMACHT” flanked on each side by Wehrmacht eagles clutching wreathed mobile swastikas, unmarked, measuring 202 mm (l) x 62 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
