(Kaiser-Wilhelm-Erinnerungsmedaille/Zentenarmedaille); in gilt bronze; the obverse with a leftward facing bust of Kaiser Wilhelm, inscribed “Wilhelm der Grosse/Deutscher Kaiser/Koenig von Preussen” (Wilhelm the Great/German Emperor/King of Prussia); the reverse inscribed “Zum Andenken an den hundertsten Geburtstag des Grossen Kaisers Wilhelm I/1797 - 22 Maerz 1897 (in remembrance of the one hundredth birthday of Wilhelm I); measuring 39.50 mm in diameter; suspended from a period original ribbon; in overall extremely fine condition.

Certificate is named to mechanic Franz Johann Theodor Meyerhof from Berlin; dated to Berlin on March 3, 1898; measuring 300 mm (w) x 240 mm (h); presenting two folding creases, and light creasing and fraying of the edges; remains near very fine.
