Germany, Der Stahlhelm. A 1925 Stahlhelm Membership Badge, Large Version, by Stahlhof Magdeburg

(Der Stahlhelm Mitgliedsabzeichen). Constructed of silver with enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled disc bearing a raised and silvered Stahlhelm, in turn bearing an engraved inscription of “DER STAHLHELM” flanked by an Iron Cross, above silvered oak leaves and a date of “1925”, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Stahlhof Magdeburg, with a silver content number of “935”, measuring 30.60 mm in diameter, weighing 12.9 grams, in extremely fine condition.
