(The Queen's Own Rifles of Toronto). FENIAN RAID 1866 (Ens. J. Dodd, 2nd Prov. Bn.). Naming is officially impressed. Dark patina, very light contact, original ribbon, near extremely fine.

Footnote: Ensign Joseph Dodd is shown on the roll of the 373 man 2nd (The Queen's Own Rifles of Toronto) Provisional Battalion, as being posted to the Suspension Bridge at Niagara from June 3rd to the 22nd, 1866, with an "attack expected" and is listed on page 61 of the "Canada General Service Medal Roll, 1866-70" by John Thyen, entitled to the Fenian Raid 1866 clasp.
