A pair of Eastern People’s Medals, including a Bronze Grade Medal, II Class, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of an eight-pointed radiant star, the obverse with a central rosette within a circular laurel leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 39.38 mm (w) x 46.05 mm (h), weighing 17.8 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in very fine condition, and; a Silver Grade Medal, II Class with Swords, constructed of silvered zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of an eight-pointed radiant star, the obverse with a central rosette within a circular laurel leaf wreath, with crossed swords through the centrepiece, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “100” for Wächtler & Lange, Mittweida, measuring 39.63 mm (w) x 45.43 mm (h), weighing 13.8 grams (inclusive of ribbon), with some loss of silver finish evident, in overall very fine condition.
