Germany, Weimar Republic. A Freikorps Volunteer Regiment Reinhard Sleeve Insignia

(Ärmelabzeichen des Freiwilligen Regiment Reinhard). Instituted November 1918 by General Wilhelm Reinhard. (1918-1919 issue). Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised letter “R” above a date of “1919” on a pebbled background, perforated with four sets of dual holes for sew-on attachment, unmarked, measuring 55 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
