Two certificates, measuring 139x200mm, extremely fine condition and light scuffing, and measuring 212x136mm, better than very fine condition with folding creases and fraying of the sides. A photo, measuring 79x126mm, extremely fine condition with discolouration. The first certificate states that Leutnant zur See (Lieutenant at Sea) Englitzky received the Iron Cross 2nd Class. It is dated to August 20, 1944 and carries a typewritten signature of Commander-in-chief of Protection West, Rear Admiral Breunig. It is signed by a Lieutenant, the name is indecipherable. The second certificate is a preliminary award certificate for the Wound Badge in Black to Lieutenant at Sea of the Reserve Englitzky. It is dated to August 16, 1944 and signed in blue crayon by a Senior Lieutenant, the name is indecipherable. The photo is a post-war print and shows Englitzky in the rank of Oberleutnant zur See (Senior Lieutenant at Sea).
