Germany, Luftwaffe. A Wehrmacht 4-Year Long Service Medal, Luftwaffe Issue

(Wehrmacht Dienstauszeichnung für 4 Jahre). Constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original mounted ribbon with horizontal pinback and Luftwaffe clasp, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE IN DER WEHRMACHT” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE WEHRMACHT”), the reverse with a central raised number “4”, within an oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 30.15 mm in diamter, in better than very fine condition.
