Saxony, Kingdom. A Medal for Faithful Labour, c.1910

(Medaille für Treue in der Arbeit). Instituted 10 August 1894. (1904-1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised rightward-facing profile of King Friedrich August III, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR TREUE IN DER ARBEIT” (“FOR FAITHFUL LABOUR”), within an oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 28.03 mm in diameter, weighing 12.3 grams, in very fine condition.
