Romania, Republic. A Civil Marine Control Captain's Badge, Post 1990

Three-piece construction, in silvered bronze with red, blue and black enamels, illustrating crossed anchors, inscribed "CONTROLUL MARINEI CIVILE" (Civil Marine Control) above and "CAPITANIA" (Captain) below within a wreath of oak leaves and surmounted by a shield bearing the Romanian coat-of-arms, measuring 48.3 mm (w) x 66 mm (h), vertical pinback, intact enamels, extremely fine.
