Germany, Heer. A Pair of Shoulder Boards

(Heer Schulterklappen). A pair of Heer shoulder boards, including a Flak/Artillery Major’s board, constructed of cardboard-reinforced red wool, the obverse with four bands of interwoven silver aluminum wire piping and pinned with a magnetic metal number “8”, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 100 mm (l), in very fine condition, and; a Heeresverwaltung (Army Administration) board, constructed of cardboard-reinforced dark green wool with an additional layer of brown wool, with four bands of interwoven silver aluminum wire piping bisected by a green threaded bands, pinned with a gilded bronze Heeresverwaltung cypher, unmarked, measuring 38 mm (w) x 105 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition.
