Fullsize: in bronze gilt with blue and white enamels, measuring 42.5 mm (w) x 48.8 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, original ribbon with brooch pinback; and Miniature: in bronze gilt with blue and white enamels, measuring 21.3 mm (w) x 24.5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, original ribbon with pinback marked "H.L.P. GI". Intact enamels, extremely fine. In their plastic case of issue, with a few scuff marks evident on the clear lid and on the bottom.

Footnote: The Naval Reserve Association was established in 1953 for Officers, while the Naval Enlisted Reserve Association was established as an organization by two Naval Reserve Chief Enginemen, Joe Wasson and Thomas Patton, on March 25, 1957. "We wanted to have an organization that paralleled the one that officers had (Naval Reserve Association) started four years earlier."
