(Dienstauszeichnung III. Klasse Schnalle). Instituted 18 June 1825 by King Friedrich Wilhelm III. (1825-1912 issue). Constructed of blackened iron, affixed to a magnetic metal backplate with a horizontal pinback and period original length of ribbon, unmarked, measuring 43.30 mm (w) x 31.16 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
