In browning copper, maker marked "O B ALLEN." on the reverse, measuring 42.7 mm (w) x 51.7 mm (h), all four prongs intact, very light contact, near extremely fine.

Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Vancouver, British Columbia under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed November 14, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel C. Milne with a strength of 31 officers and 966 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 1st Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
