Germany, BDM. A RZM Package of Five League of German Girls Single-Claw Belt Buckles

(Bund Deutscher Mädel = BDM) Buckles in plated steel, each marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia and maker marked "M4/92" (Heinrich Ulbrichts Witwe, Wien XIII) on the reverse, measuring 42 mm x 51.7 mm each, all in a paper wrapper, white paper label glued in place, the label printed in black ink with large RZM insignias at either end, inscribed "6 BDM.: Gürtelschnallen nach Borschrift der Reichszeugmeisterei der NSDAP." marked "A" and numbered "No 084811", the bottom edge of the wrapper having been ripped open, Footnote: From the collection of approximately 900 German buckles accumulated by John R. Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
