Instituted in 1926. Type V (1945-1970), in silver gilt with red, white, light blue, dark blue, green and yellow enamels, number engraved "856" on the reverse, measuring 51 mm (w) x 54.2 mm (h), screwback, intact enamels, light surface wear on the five silver animals on the insignia, near extremely fine.

 

Footnote: The Order of the Red Banner of Labour Valour was instituted in 1926 as the Order of Literacy Valour. It was re-named the Order of Civil Valour in 1931, then re-named again, this time as the Order of the Red Banner of Labour Valour in 1945. It was awarded for services in education, agriculture, health and industry.
