Germany, Heer. A Patriotic Soldier Wall Plaque by Fritz Paul Zimmer

Constructed of die stamped aluminum, the plaque bears the image of a bust of a left facing soldier with a helmet with two rivets and a grommet, under the bust on the right side is engraved with “F.P. Zimmer” within a black wood frame, the reverse bears a black backer nailed into place with twenty finishing nails with two triangle nail hoops for hanging, measuring 273 mm (w) x 323 mm (h), very fine.
