Germany, NSFK. A National Socialist Flyers Corps Glider Proficiency Insignia, Rare Private/Custom Purchase

(Segelflugzeug Leistungsabzeichen). A Class “A” qualification cloth badge, hand-embroidered in silver aluminum bullion wire, displaying an opened-ended upward facing wreath with a mobile swastika at the base, a single gull inside the wreath, reverse unmarked, measuring 52 mm in diameter, showing wear of the wires, and in overall near very fine condition. Accompanied by a black-and-white photograph of a man in uniform wearing the badge.
