(Deutscher Athletik-Sportverband Mitgliedsabzeichen in Gold). Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, tied together at the bottom by a ribbon with a date of “1891”, with central initials “DASV”, the reverse with a horizontal pinback and maker’s mark of “E. SCHMIDHÄUSSLER, PFORZHEIM”, measuring 43.18 mm (w) x 38.00 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
