Saxe-Weimar, Duchy. A 9-Year Long Service Award, c.1915

(Dienstauszeichnung für 9 Jahre). Instituted 20 December 1913 by Grand Duke Wilhelm Ernst. (1913-1918 issue). Constructed of neusilber, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a monogram of Wilhelm Ernst circumscribed by an inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE BEI DER FAHNE”, the reverse with a number “9” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 29.96 mm in diameter, weighing 13.8 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
