Germany, Imperial. An Elbing Sappers and Transport Troops 10-Year Badge, by B. Lindner

(Pioniere und Verkehrstruppen Erinnerungsabzeichen). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, consisting of an anchor flanked by tools and overlaid by a shield with an inscription of “VEREIN DER PIONIERE U. VERKEHRSTRUPPEN ELBING” (“ASSOCIATION OF SAPPERS AND TRANSPORT TROOPS ELBIN”), with an enameled hanger bearing an inscription of “10 JAHRE” (“10 YEARS”), the reverse with a horizontal pinback and maker’s mark of “B. LINDNER, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 31 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
