Netherlands, Kingdom. A 1933 Christmas Flight of “The Pelican” Commemorative Medallion

Constructed of bronze, the obverse with a depiction of a pelican flying across a globe, with bottom date of “1933”, the reverse with engraved signatures of the four pilots with date, unmarked, measuring 41.20 mm in diameter, weighing 29.5 grams, accompanied by its period original case of issue, constructed of cardboard with a faux blue leather exterior, the obverse lid with inscription “N.V. STICHTSCHE BEGER UTRECHT”, measuring 47 mm (w) x 47 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition.
