The document is a gift for Bismarck’s 80th birthday given by the Association of German Actors and Stage Members. It features a poem celebrating the achievements of Bismarck, not just for the greater good of Germany, but also for the acting profession as a whole, by being an embodiment of integrity and truthfulness. Measuring 393mm (w) x 533mm (h), with age-appropriate signs of usage in the form of light warping, age spots, and light scuffing, remaining near extremely fine.
The document is accompanied by a heavy duty faux leather cardstock cover with cloth interior, obverse and reverse with gilded bronze embellishments, dated to April 1, 1895. Measuring 403mm (w) x 550mm (h), with light signs of usage, remaining near extremely fine.
