Germany, Luftwaffe. A Squadron Clasp for Transport Pilots, Bronze Grade

(Frontflug-Spangen für Transport- und Luftlandeflieger in Bronze). Constructed of bronzed tombak, the obverse with a central round laurel wreath, overlaid by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 75.93 mm (w) x 25.69 mm (h), weighing 21.9 grams, in extremely fine condition.
