Russia, Imperial. An Order of St. Stanislaus in Gold, Miniature Boutonniere, c.1900

Of the intracite detailing and quality one comes to expect of Russian Imperial gold orders. With outstanding detail in gold with red, white and green enamels, weighing 1.4 grams, Moscow city marked and Kokoshnik marked on the reverse, the latter mark consisting of a woman's head beside the "56" gold content (14ct), 17.5 mm x 17.5 mm, on a 23.8 mm original period rosette, Kokoshnik marked on the silver screwback, intact enamels, extremely fine.
