Germany, Schutpolizei. A Schutzpolizei Gendarmerie Bandolier and Cartouche

(Schutzpolizei Patronengurt und Hülse). An extremely well-preserved set of Schutzpolizei Gendarmerie uniform accoutrements, including a bandolier, constructed of two lengths of brown leather, with each end completing in an additional reverse strap bearing a reinforced buttonhole, secured together with a pebbled aluminum buckle, adjusted with two additional aluminum fixtures with a integrated slidable leather loop, the reverse stamped with a partially-legible maker’s mark of a Magdeburg-based firm, with a manufacture date of “1938”, measuring 50 mm (w) x 1450 mm (l), in extremely fine condition; accompanied by a cartouche, constructed of multiple pieces of brown leather secured together by hand stitching, consisting of a reinforced puch with reverse straps, bearing a lid with an exterior aluminum Schutzpolizei insignia consisting of a partial circular oak leaf wreath topped by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the insignia measuring 105 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), unmarked, measuring 160 mm (w) x 110 mm (h) overall, in extremely fine condition.
