Germany, Luftwaffe. A Luftwaffe Cap Eagle

(Luftwaffe Abzeichen für Tropenhelm). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with one of three attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 68 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), most of the silver finish has been lost, in overall very fine condition.
