Constructed of silvered tombak, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, with central Wehrmacht-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, on top of a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42.15 mm (w) x 53.32 mm (h), weighing 8.9 grams, in near mint.
