A pair of Eastern People’s Medals, including a Bronze Grade II Class Medal, constructed of gilded zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, the consisting of an eight-pointed radiant star, the obverse with a central raised rosette within a laurel leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 40.04 mm (w) x 44.88 mm (h), weighing 15.6 grams (inclusive of ribbon), with most of the gilt finish lost, in overall very fine condition, and; a Silver Grade II Class Medal with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of an eight-pointed radiant star, the obverse with a central raised rosette within a laurel leaf wreath, with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, unmarked, measuring 40.32 mm (w) x 45.12 mm (h), weighing 14.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
