A Deutsches Jungvolk (DJ) trumpet, constructed of brass, of multi-piece construction reinforced with four crossbars, with a functional detachable mouthpiece secured to the body of the instrument by a chain, the exterior of the bell is maker marked “HOPF”, measuring 770 mm in length, accompanied by its period original banner, constructed of black cotton, trimmed one three sides with white tassels wrapped in gold bullion flat wire, the plain edge with multiple integrated loops for attachment to the shaft of the instrument, each side bearing a machine-embroidered white cotton Sig rune, unmarked, measuring 485 mm (w) x 485 mm (h), some denting and oxidation evident to the trumpet and soiling visible on the flag, in overall better than very fine condition.
