This is an extremely well-preserved edition of “A Study of Colt Conversions and Other Percussion Revolvers”, but R. Bruce McDowell. It is constructed of a heavy card stock binding, and retains its original glossed paper stock dust jacket. The exterior of the cover page bearing a full-colour image of two revolvers, circumscribed by author and title, while the reverse features a second full-colour image of revolvers flanked by a description of the book’s contents. The interior contents consist of 463 glossed white paper pages featuring highly detailed descriptions of revolvers, supplemented by black-and-white photographs and diagrams. It was published in 1997 by Krause Publications of Iola, Wisconsin. The book measures 225 mm (w) x 286 mm (h). While minor material fatigue is evident to the dust jacket, it is in an overall extremely fine condition.
