Instituted August 3, 1814 by King Friedrich Wilhelm II. A silver cross pattee, the center medallion presents an L surrounded by seven small stars on a blue enamel field, reverse plain, measures 16.24mm (w) x 18.85mm (h – inclusive of integral suspension), weighs 2.5 grams, wear to gilt, fine condition.
