Prussia, Red Eagle Medal. In Gold, a white enamel cross, the obverse medallion presents a hand painted red eagle, the reverse presents the initials FW, measures 14.15mm (w) x 17.50mm (h – inclusive of integral suspension), weighs 1.9 grams, suspended from two loops, large enamel chip to central red eagle medallion, otherwise near very fine condition.
Prussia, Life Saving Medal. In silver, the obverse presents the left facing profile of King Wilhelm III, surrounded by the inscription FRIEDRICH WILHELM KOENIG VON PREUSSEN with 4 dots in a diamond shape denoting manufacturing from 1865-1875, the reverse presents the inscription FÜR RETTUNG AUS GEFAHR surrounded by a laurel wreath, measures 15.40mm (w) x 18.35mm (h – including integral suspension ring), weighs 1.9 grams, very little contact, very fine condition.
Prussia, 1914 Iron Cross, II Class, composed of blackened iron and silver in a black enamelled cross, the obverse center presents a W and 1914 in the bottom of the 6 o’clock arm, the reverse presents a cluster of oak leaves in the center, below a crowned FW and the ear 1813 in the 6 o’clock arm, measures 15.75mm (w) x 17.90mm (h – inclusive of integral suspension), weighs 1.7 grams, wear to enamel, rusted iron, fine condition
