This is an extremely well-preserved edition of “British Military Longarms 1815-1865”, by D.W. Bailey. It is constructed of a heavy card stock binding and retains its original glossed paper stock dust jacket, with the cover bearing a black-and-white photograph of rifles flanked by author and title. The reverse features images of other reference volumes available from the Illustrated Monographs series. The interior content consists of 78 white paper pages featuring brief descriptions of British military rifles, supplemented by black-and-white photographs and an index. It was published in 1972 by Stackpole Press of Harrisburg, Pennylsvania. The book measures 144 mm (w) x 222 mm (h) and is in an overall extremely fine condition.
