In Gold consisting of a Cross Pattée with white enameled arms, the obverse with a central gilt medallion bearing a convex Prussian royal crown, surrounded by a blue enameled ring with gilt inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD IS WITH US”) and arabesques, reverse with an analogous medallion depicting a convex monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm I, surrounded by a blue enameled ring with gilt inscription of “DEN 18 OCTOBER 1861”, with gilt crossed swords piercing the body of the cross, measuring 15.64 mm (w) x 17.65 mm (h - inclusive of integral ring), weighing 2.4 grams, an excellent example, extremely fine.
