Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Duchy. A Griffon Order, Knight’s Cross with Crown, c.1910

(Greifen Orden, Ritterkreuz mit Krone). Issued 1904-1918. A Gold Maltese cross with red enameled arms, the obverse with a raised central Gold medallion depicting a griffon, the reverse plain without enamels; on a swivel crown, measuring 15.07 mm (w) x 22.50 mm (h); weighing 1.5 grams; in overall very fine condition.
